This year, we celebrate our 25th anniversary.
For 25 years, IPS-Group has been driven by a clear purpose: to deliver effective industrial solutions while reducing waste, emissions, and risk to people and the environment.
But the story began long before 2001.
In the late 1960s and 1970s, industrial cleaning relied heavily on hazardous chemicals, creating unnecessary waste and emissions. This was a challenge our founder, Claus Hjorth Madsen, set out to change. With an education from University of Michigan Business School and experience at Dow Chemical, he believed that performance and responsibility could, and should, go hand in hand.
In 1981, he founded CPS in Denmark. Together with scientist Charles M. Hansen, CPS helped pioneer advanced water-based solvents that significantly reduced chemical consumption without compromising efficiency.
Today, IPS-Group supplies critical cleaning and surface preparation solutions, along with personal protective equipment and consumables. As we mark 25 years this March, our purpose remains unchanged. And the journey continues. 🚀
