Product Description
Corrotek is an aqueous in-process rust preventative designed to provide fast flash-rust protection for steel parts during manufacturing operations. It leaves a dry film with no oily residue, is easy to dispense and normally does not need removal prior to assembly.

Application & Handling of Corrotek
Directions for use
- Typical concentration 3% to 5% with water in the final rinse stage
- Recommended temperature range 60–77°C (140–170°F) to promote drying
- Immersion/contact time typically 1–2 minutes to allow heat absorption and flash-drying
- Higher temperatures accelerate evaporation but do not significantly improve flash-drying beyond recommended range
- Heating the solution promotes faster drying of parts after treatment
