Application & Use of NFAI Phenothrin
- Suitable for cabin cockpit and cargo hold disinsection
- Use according to WHO pre-departure and on-arrival procedures
- Switch off air-conditioning before application
- Open overhead bins sidewalls and lavatory doors
- Apply at 35 g product per 100 m³ cabin volume
- Maintain aerosol vertically at arm’s length at shoulder height
- Direct spray towards ceiling and slightly behind the operator
- Ensure complete emptying during one-shot operation
- For multi-shot apply 3–4 seconds per 10 m³ volume
Operational Guidance
- Follow aircraft onboard manual for number of cans required
- Perform treatments only in unoccupied aircraft
- Remove food and empty waste bins before spraying
- Walk forward through cabin spraying in a grid pattern
Storage & Safety
- Pressurised container may burst if heated
- Keep away from heat sparks hot surfaces and flames
- Do not pierce or burn even after use
- Avoid release to the environment
- Store below 40°C in cool dry ventilated area
- Dispose of contents and containers at authorised waste facilities
