Application & Use of UNBLOCK
Vacuum Toilet – General Maintenance
- Optional add 1–1.5 cm crushed ice into the bowl to increase efficacy
- Pour 2 L of UNBLOCK down each toilet bowl or directly into the flushing system
- Allow solution to work for 10–15 minutes
- Flush toilet several times
- Repeat process for all toilets on the aircraft
- Rinse with water once complete
- Empty waste tank again before returning toilet to service
Re-Circulating Toilets – General Maintenance
- Ensure all toilet units are emptied
- Start at the most forward lavatory and pour 2 L of UNBLOCK per toilet
- Flush twice
- Treat all toilets on both sides of the aircraft
- Flush 3–4 times in the first hour to circulate product
- Continue flushing every hour for 2–4 hours
- Empty waste tank again before returning to service
